It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Linda Sally Rivera, 30, on December 1, 2017. She was born in DeLand Florida on September 14, 1987 to Debra (Rivera) Zechnowitz, DeLand and Frank Rivera Jr., Daytona Beach.

Linda was preceded in death by her stepfather David Zechnowitz, paternal grandfather Frank Rivera Sr. and her godfather Angel Laboy. She is survived by her beautiful and only son Mikey who was the light of her life. In addition to her parents and son, Linda is survived by her loving sister Lisa Rivera, step-sisters Jessie and Lily Zechnowitz, maternal grandparents Thomas and Mary Belli, paternal grandmother Ofelia Rivera and her godmother Donna Hayes. Linda was deeply loved by her entire family, especially her many aunts, uncles and cousins. She also had many friends who she cared deeply for.

Linda grew up in Deltona FL and moved to DeLand in 2004. She attended St. Peter's Catholic School in DeLand and graduated from Deltona High School in 2006. She was currently working on her Associates degree at Daytona State College.

Linda will be remembered for her beautiful eyes and smile, awesome sense of humor and famous laugh. She loved spending time with her family and was extremely kind hearted, sensitive and caring. Please share a memory with the family through our on line guest book.
