Philip “Jimmy” Varrallo, 86 of Ormond Beach, Florida died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Florida Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach. He was born October 13, 1931 in South Orange, New Jersey to Philip and Angelina (Paul) Varrallo.

Jimmy was a licensed plumber and was the maintenance manager for the township of Maplewood, New Jersey for 40+ years. He served honorable in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as an artillery soldier. Jimmy was also an honored member of the Knights of Columbus, Prince of Peace Counsel. He enjoyed gardening, backyard life, which he fed daily, going to the gym, and going to Publix to chat “with the guys and check on his girls”. He was an ardent “Die Hard” fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, wouldn’t miss a game. Jimmy was a mild man who will be missed dearly by family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Varrallo of Ormond Beach, his sister, Louise Maiolino of Parsippany, New Jersey, stepson, James, several nieces and nephews, and grandchildren, Tyler, Hayley and Shane.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, December 14th at 2:00 pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church; 600 S. Nova Road Ormond Beach.
