Obituary for Anna Detke at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange

Anna Detke, 89 passed away on January 16th, 2018. She came to America in 1952, settling in Cleveland, Ohio. Anna was the beloved wife of the late Emil Detke for 62 years. Not only was she a creative homemaker but also the ideal partner, as owner of the Lynn Scott Lee Motel for many years. She was a wonderful hostess, loved and respected by many people. Most of all, she was a loving Mother and Grandmother. Mother to the late Siegfried (Jan) Detke, Sigrid (Rick) Straka, Eleanor Detke and Heidi Detke. Grandmother to Angela (Dave) Johnson, Mark (Julie) Straka, Jeff (Mandy) Straka, Karl and Kyle Detke, Gregory (Alice) Schroeder, Alexander Schroeder and Gretchen Thomassy. Great Grandmother to Willow and Maggie Johnson, Gunnar Straka and Dorian and Myles Straka. A Visitation in her honor will be held on Monday, January 22^nd, 2018, from 10:00am until the time of the Service at 11:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
