During the month of April the Lohman Community Outreach will be accepting essays for its annual youth essay contest, "The True Meaning of Memorial Day." The contest is open to all Volusia County middle and high school students, including private, charter and home schooled students, to allow them to learn about the service and sacrifice of veterans and members of the military.
